Escape the fast lane and merge into a peaceful, inspirational evening of contemporary gospel with Lawrence Flowers & Intercession. The Billboard, chart-topping group is set to perform songs from the albums Major In Ministry, Minor In Music; More; and their newest release, Merge.
The Apollo Music Café series has served as a launching pad for numerous artists for 11 years, showcasing their unique artistry in an intimate nightclub setting. The series features diverse performances across a myriad of genres (R&B, hip hop, soul, jazz, pop, funk, and rock), and showcases artists drawn from the independent music scene who are making their mark.
Doors open at 9pm; Showtime is 10pm.

The Apollo’s Historic Theater has 12 wheelchair seating locations available for every show, all on the Orchestra seating level. Tickets for wheelchair seating locations can be purchased at The Apollo Theater box office or on Ticketmaster.
Four wheelchair seating locations will be reserved until the day of each performance.Each seating level is accessible via the elevator inside The Apollo’s Historic Theater. Guests should be aware of the small steps leading toward the Mezzanine and Balcony seating levels. Depending on the guest’s ticket location for these two levels, additional walking may be required. If guests are not able to travel up and down steps, tickets for events should be purchased for the Orchestra level.

The Jonelle Procope Theater, named in honor of the former Apollo President/CEO, is a 99-seat flexible black box theater that can be transformed into a myriad of configurations and styles. The Voidz
As the frontman and sole songwriter of The Strokes, Julian Casablancas helped ignite a depth charge that helped reinvigorate modern music. In 2013, Casablancas morphed into the next stage in his artistic development: The Voidz. Over the course of two albums—the daring 2014 debut album Tyranny and its 2018 follow-up Virtue — The Voidz’ wild genre-splicing was embraced by fans of all genres and critics alike, developing an underground cult following. From experimental and heavy metal to new wave and underground world music, all the way to old school hip-hop beats, indie rock, secret jazz, and classical leanings, The Voidz simply refer to their style (semi-jokingly) as "prison jazz." They’ve also furthered their mutant-pop tendencies via collaborations with like-minded artists as diverse as Daft Punk (Instant Crush, Infinity Repeating), Mac DeMarco (Did My Best), and an original song for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto.
The Voidz 3rd album Like All Before You will be released September 20, 2024.

The Apollo Works in Process series continues with a powerful three-part contemporary ballet by Jamaican-born dancemaker, Christopher Rudd. Inspired by the 2012 murder of Trayvon Martin, WITNESS blends different styles of dance with contemporary circus, film, and theatricality to put America’s racial landscape into historical context, combat systemically taught racial biases and imagine hope for a more just and equitable future.
Journeying through time and form, Rudd’s dynamic work invites audiences to engage in a conversation about reconciliation and their duty as bystanders.
