The Apollo's Historic Theater and The Apollo Stages at The Victoria are located in the heart of Harlem, on West 125th Street between Adam Clayton Powell and Frederick Douglass Blvds.
The address of The Apollo Stages at The Victoria is 233 West 125th Street and the address of The Historic Theater is 253 West 125th Street.
The Apollo's Historic Theater is currently closed for renovation but The Apollo Stages at The Victoria remain open. Our Laura & Frank Baker Gallery exhibition "Got to Be There: The Apollo, Its People and Its Stories" is free and open to the public daily from 10am - 6pm. Guests may visit The Apollo Theater Gift Shop from 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Sunday. Groups attending the Apollo Experience Tour may enter the building at the time of their scheduled tour.
All guests entering The Apollo are subject to a bag check. The Security staff has the right to turn away any guests attempting to enter the building with items prohibited by the theater. As stated in The Apollo’s Food and Beverage Policy, no outside food or drinks are allowed inside its theaters. The Apollo Security staff have the right to deny entry to guests attempting to enter the building with food or drinks purchased outside.
All seated attendees must have a ticket for ticketed events. Our gallery exhibition is free and open to the public. Please check your event page for age restrictions.
Unless otherwise enforced for a particular event, guests with tickets are allowed to re-enter the building during the event, for which the ticket was purchased. Late seating for ticketed events and programs will be at the discretion of House Management.
The Apollo has partnered with Great Performances to provide patrons with a variety of food and beverage options. No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the building. Guests attempting to enter the building with outside food or drinks will be asked to dispose of these items. Security has the right to deny entry to anyone who does not comply with this policy.
