Safety Information

As of July 11, 2022, the following Covid-19 safety policies are in effect. Subject to change.

Ready When You Are – Safe In-Person Shows Return 

The health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring that you have an exceptional experience, with confidence in the policies and procedures designed for a safe environment for all.

Here are a few things you need to know:

Masks Are Encouraged

For the safety of our artists, audiences and staff, face coverings are optional but encouraged for all attendees while inside the theater.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Based on guidance from public health authorities such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies, the Apollo has implemented the following policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for our audiences, artists, and staff:

  • Rigorous cleaningAcross high-touch locations and surfaces including seats
  • Hand sanitization stationsPositioned in all levels of our theaters
  • Reduced contact ticketing
  • Digital tickets are able to be scanned directly from your mobile device or can be downloaded on site.

Please note that some events have their own COVID-19 protocol requirements. Because requirements vary by event, it’s important to also check the event page on the website to confirm additional details for that specific event.

Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to communicate these policies to all those in their party or to whom they may be providing tickets.

Guests who choose not to follow the rules will be asked to leave the venue without a ticket refund.

The Apollo regularly updates its COVID protocols and procedures based on CDC, federal, state, city, and other scientific data. The Apollo reserves the right to alter safety protocols at any time and at its sole discretion including but not limited to social distancing, vaccines/testing, masks, food service limitations, venue capacity, and entrance requirements as it deems appropriate.
