Apollo Music Café

Apollo Music Café:
Joshua Banbury

American classical vocalist Joshua Banbury creates an evening of folk, jazz and blues that bridges the past to the present. Join us as he brings his Texas-based trio and taps into the music compositions of Black luminaries such as Billy Eckstine, Victoria Spivey, Billy Strayhorn and more.

Perfect for date night, or a night out with friends, the Apollo Music Café series has served as a launching pad for numerous artists including Grammy winners Tank & the Bangas, PJ Morton and Samara Joy showcasing their unique artistry in an intimate nightclub setting. The series features diverse performances across a myriad of genres (R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, latin, pop, funk and rock) and showcases artists drawn from the independent music scene who are making their mark in the industry. Doors open at 9pm; Showtime is 10pm. There is a $10 food/beverage minimum.

Apollo Music Café: Joshua Banbury is part of The Apollo’s Fall/Winter 2023 season.
