The Apollo’s Works in Process series continues with Bricks, a new musical by Charlene Jean and Franklin Rankin. In Bricks, a mother represses the gifts of her daughter hoping to protect her innocence from a world that has torn their lives apart. But as her daughter comes of age she learns the truth of her purpose and the spirits who guide her. Will a mothers love trump the power of the spirit world and can this sacred mother-daughter relationship survive the betrayal of lies for the sake of their own safety?

Four wheelchair seating locations will be reserved until the day of each performance.Each seating level is accessible via the elevator inside The Apollo’s Historic Theater. Guests should be aware of the small steps leading toward the Mezzanine and Balcony seating levels. Depending on the guest’s ticket location for these two levels, additional walking may be required. If guests are not able to travel up and down steps, tickets for events should be purchased for the Orchestra level.
