In this unit, Benton Greene walks us through three of the lessons featured in the Between the World and Me Resource Guide for Educators. The Guide was first created for The Apollo’s staged reading of Ta-Nehisi Coates’s award-winning book and can be used as a companion piece to the book, The Apollo’s theatrical presentation, and the HBO film. Lessons are recommended for grades 6 – 12.
