Apollo Theater Academy Internship Program
The Apollo Theater Academy High School Internship Program provides high school seniors with opportunities for personal and professional development as they explore non-performance careers in the arts and entertainment industries. Through hands-on training and career development workshops, interns experience a real-world work environment and connect with industry professionals.
Arts Administration Internship
Selected 12th-grade interns (class of 2024) learn about the impact of arts administration on live and recorded productions at The Apollo. Interns will also develop a concept for our signature summer event, Teen Takeover. Workshops and required work will be delivered on-site at The Apollo for the majority of the internship that runs from March 12, 2024 – May 16, 2024.
Technical Stage Production Internship
Selected 11th-grade interns (class of 2025) will learn how to apply technical elements of theater such as lighting design, audio engineering, videography, carpentry, and production design, to live and recorded stage productions from the pros at The Apollo from July 1, 2024 – August 9, 2024.
