Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, Apollo Theater, NYC

An exciting opportunity leading the marketing and communications department of the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem.  Position is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing and communications-related strategies and activities; and  for the achievement of mission, goals and financial objectives, specifically those related to earned revenue from ticket sales.  Position reports to the Executive Producer and serves as a member of the management team.  Position supervises a nine-person staff, with four direct reports.  Strong creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills a must.  Preference given to seasoned professional with experience in New York City and knowledge of the local arts and entertainment industry.  To respond to this opportunity, send resume and salary requirement to:  This email address is being protected from spambots. Education Associate

This position supports the overall initiatives of the Apollo Theater’s Education program. The Associate oversees the day to day administrative activities of the Education program to insure the delivery of activities and events. The education associate also oversees the documentation and archiving of content created by and for the Apollo Education Program and is often the first line of contact for telephone and written inquiries.
