What academic opportunities and creative tools can educators provide for students to help them think critically and meaningfully about the world around them? How can students address social issues and voice their concerns through the arts?
This full day of professional learning will include a session with Cyphers for Justice and a Theater workshop, both will explore different modalities for meaningful self-expression. Educators will engage with different strategies for the exploration and teaching of the relationship between the arts and
activism with students.
$50 per person (includes light breakfast, lunch, and all materials)
Recommended for 7th to 12th grade educators.
