Featuring diverse performances across a myriad of genres (R&B, hip hop, soul, jazz, pop, funk and rock), the monthly series introduces new artists or musical projects to the local music circuit.
Harlem’s own Tyrik Ballard brings his powerful voice to the Apollo Music Café with this special evening curated by Soul Factory Presents. Inspired by 90’s R&B, Ballard uses his soulful tones to sing powerful ballads with social justice messages like his song, “Why Don’t We Try” calling for the end of gun violence.

Certain Music Café presentations will complement Apollo Music Mainstage events such as Africa Now! and the Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival.
