It’s a night of hums, bumps, beats and the power of the human voice. Fresh from their viral video of Beyonce’s Déjà Vu, the a capella group known as Pitch Slapped takes the stage and lights up Harlem with a late-night jam session.
Pitch Slapped is comprised of students from Berklee College of Music in Boston and ranked as one of the world’s premier a cappella groups. Named as one of the top five a cappella groups by USA Today, Pitch Slapped has appeared on NBC's The Sing Off, America's Got Talent and featured in the movie Daddy's Home 2. Their latest album Sincerely is available on all streaming platforms.

The Apollo Music Café series is designed to bring independent, cutting-edge artists to a forward-thinking audience. Featuring diverse performances across a myriad of genres (R&B, hip hop, soul, jazz, pop, funk, and rock), this monthly series showcases artists drawn from the independent music scene who are destined to impact the way music is heard and experienced. Certain Music Café presentations will complement Apollo Music Mainstage events such as Africa Now! and the Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival.
