"The sensational new stage production of DREAMGIRLS is now playing on the legendary Apollo stage! Full of onstage joy and backstage drama, DREAMGIRLS tells the rags-to riches story of an up and coming 1960’s girl group, and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune.

Dreamgirls is a major highlight of the Apollo Theater’s 75th Anniversary and is directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom with co-choreography by Shane Sparks, and is produced by John Breglio for Vienna Waits ProductionsDreamgirls will introduce Moya Angela as Effie White and feature, as The Dreams, Syesha Mercado as Deena Jones, and Adrienne Warren as Lorrell Robinson.

Community performances will be available during the run of Dreamgirls for Harlem residents or those who work in the Harlem community. Harlem residents can purchase up to 6 tickets and those who work in Harlem can purchase up to 2 tickets. All must present I.D. Tickets for these performances are half price and must be purchased at the Apollo Box office.

The 14th Annual Black Nutcracker is a special version of the timeless classic featuring the finest performances in ballet, African on Pointe, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop. Presented by the Uptown Dance Academy, 2009 McDonald's Gospelfest Champions. Choreographed by Robin Williams, Founder/Executive Artistic Director.

Marion J. Caffey's celebrated production returns to the Apollo by popular demand. Starring Nova Payton, Laurice Lanier and Jamet Pitman, 3 Mo' Divas is a musical extravaganza that captivates audiences with thrilling performances that include soul, opera, jazz, blues, rock, gospel, and much more. The show begins with the classical sounds of Puccini then segues into tunes that span 233 years and three languages. Recently televised, this smash hit returns to the Apollo Theater for one performance only.
