Amateur Night: 03.23.11

Covering classics was the unofficial theme for last night's Amateur Night. The idea worked wonders for the performers - the jeers were few and far between. One contestant sang his original piece and the audience wasn't having any of it.

In the end, an enthusiastic Harlem resident won first place. If you live near the Apollo, you've most likely seen him around. He has been attending Amateur Night for years. Instead of watching from afar, he was on stage with the best of them.

Who was it? Find out below!
