Florida native Alyssa White is passionate about singing. Her biggest music influences are Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys. For her performance at Amateur Night, Alyssa plans to blow the audience away with her version of “I’m Here” from the Broadway show “The Color Purple.”

Breakin' Convention
It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
