Singer, dancer, actor and model Jose Figueroa, born and raised in Spanish Harlem, has been performing since 1989. Jose made his first appearance on the Apollo stage in August of last year, taking home the crown on the Gospel Night edition of Amateur Night.

Breakin' Convention
It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
