Karla Agee-Seldon

Ohio native Karla Agee-Seldon is passionate about music.  The singer is firmly rooted in gospel music and had the pleasure of opening for legendary performers such as the Clark Sisters, the Mighty Clouds of Joy and more.  Karla has recorded a CD and is currently working on a record deal.   She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her famous family, which includes Nell Carter, Harold Brown (War), Tawatha Agee (Mtume) and baseball legend Tommie Agee.   She is deeply grateful for the support of her family and hopes to make them proud by winning first place at Amateur Night.

Breakin' Convention

It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
