Gabrielle Friedman is a native of Harlem, USA. For years, she has stood underneath the marquee of the legendary Apollo Theater and dreamed of performing on its stage. This season, Gabby’s dream comes true. The young songstress is inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire, Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson. She has performed in multiple productions of “Annie”, “Madeline’s Christmas” and competed in McDonald’s “The Gift.” Gabby is the season winner of “Who’s Got that Vibe, Atlanta”. Later this year, Gabby plans to release a recording entitled “Age Is Just A Number.”

Breakin' Convention

It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
