She is a New Jersey native who wants to use her talent to take the world by storm. Cherie has been influenced by many different artists – including Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Aaliyah and Apollo legend Luther Vandross. Cherie says, “Singing at the Apollo has been a dream of mine for quite some time and look forward to performing on that legendary stage”.

Breakin' Convention

It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
