Brooklyn native Omar White has been ripping up the dance floor since the age of two. The young dancer got his inspiration by watching videos of Apollo legend Michael Jackson. Omar is thrilled to be performing on the same stage as his idol and hopes to bag first place in the “Child Stars of Tomorrow” competition at Amateur Night.

Breakin' Convention
It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
