As a young boy, Nigel Dunkley was fascinated by Jim Henson’s characters that appeared on Sesame Street and the Muppet Show. The New York native soon began to create his own puppets and took his show on the road. Nigel has performed in church, special events and local talent shows. He and his puppet look forward to appearing at Amateur Night at the Apollo.

Breakin' Convention

It's a hip hop takeover at the Apollo June 13-16 as 100 dancers from around the globe gather onstage, under the marquee, all through the building during a jam-packed 4-day weekend of hip hop dance theater shows, DJ's spinning, live graffiti art, film clips and special tributes to hip hop dance icons, family workshops and free events.
