MDM & Nabiyah Bashir

Composed of Salvador Bahia’s greatest percussionist expatriates Meis Noite, Dende and Marivaldo do Santos, MDM blend Afro Brazilian Roots with Samba, Jazz, Hip-Hop, electronic, Axe & tribal music into an entirely new show set for the dance-floor. In tandem with MDM, vocalist and daughter of reggae artist Jimmy Cliff, Nabiyah Bashir expounds on her innate artistic tradition with powerhouse contemporary vocals delivered with sould and nuance beyond her years. At only 20, Nabiyah has already developed a solid repertoire in both in the US & abroad.
