Alyson Williams
Alyson Williams is an immensely talented vocalist whose broad range expands classic soul to Broadway. Williams is the daughter of Jazz trumpeter and bandleader Bobby Booker. With her debut album Raw, Alyson got her first taste of success. Her single “Just Call My Name” skyrocketed to #1 on the R&B charts.
As a vibrant singer and actress, Alyson has appeared in numerous stage productions – including the 25th anniversary of the “Wiz”, “My Brother Marvin: The Marvin Gaye Story,” “One Mo’ Time” and “Rollin on the Toba”. One of Alyson’s favorite performances was in the play “Thank God the Beat Goes On,” where she portrayed R&B/Jazz legend Phyllis Hyman.
A true Renaissance woman and well rounded artist, Alyson not only performs and acts, but has recently triumphed as a stand-up comedian. She performs at one of the country's most renowned comedy clubs Caroline's.
